History

Year 1 children had a very special guest today as part of their topic ‘Memory Box’. We hosted one of the children’s great-grandmothers to share her life and photos.

This week 3E went on a trip to Barnet museum and church. The class learnt lots of historical facts about their local area.

Year 4 had a marvellous day at the Tower of London where we heard stories of the Tower brought to life with fantastic actors in period costume. The children behaved impeccably and were a credit to St Catherine’s.

This week, 4K went on their trip to the Tower of London, where they enjoyed seeing different parts of the tower as well as listening to and role-playing stories of the tower.

6G enjoyed their trip to the RAF museum where they learnt more about their WW2 topic.

Y6 had a wonderful time at the RAF museum where they learnt all about different WW2 aircraft and how people survived in the Blitz.
