On Monday 6 November, Year 3 had a wonderful trip to Waltham Abbey Gardens for a Stone age experience. During the day, they had the opportunity to learn about significant milestones in human evolution, identify a number of fossilised items, go on a Stone age plant hunt and make fires! It was a fascinating and fun day that the children really enjoyed. It enabled the children to develop an understanding of what the Stone age was and what life was like during the period.
