On Monday, Year 5 had the pleasure of visiting The British Museum together in line with our topic this term, Pharaohs. We had a great workshop about Tutankhamun, learning about his broken bones that suggest the way he died. We had fun learning how Mummies are x-rayed to find out more about their lives, with 3D print outs displaying the ornate jewellery, gold and possessions the Pharaohs were buried with. We learned how water from the River Nile, as well wine, was used to wash down the bodies before burials. Thank you to our teachers for taking us on such a fun trip!
