Today Year 3 took part in the Museum of London’s prehistoric event. During this time, they saw a range of artefacts from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. First of all, they had to work out what each artefact was. Then, they had to put the objects in chronological order. Following this, they learned about how archaeologists discover artefacts. They then had an opportunity to ask questions to the historian and archaeologist and heard one of their questions about fossils answered.
