Year 1 had a wonderful time leading mass in school on Tuesday. The theme of our mass was ‘Love One Another’. The children who led our readings spoke so confidently about how Jesus calls us to show kindness, respect and love towards everyone we meet.
Father David taught us all about how Jesus is a friend to each and every one of us. He even taught us a new song and dance to help us to better understand the Gospel. Some of our very talented Year 1 children led us out by playing instruments during our final hymn ‘Shout for Joy’, which left everyone feeling very joyful! Thank you to all of the parents who came to support us and to Ms Draper for the brilliant music throughout our mass.
