Thank you to Class 6SY and Miss Sykes for preparing the Prayer Service this week. 6SY reinforced Pope Francis’ message about peace being a journey of hope and how dialogue and reconciliation are all important factors to make this happen. The children reflected on what peace means to them and how we can ensure there is peace at home and at school. They read with confidence and reverence and beautifully sang ‘Join with us’. The message we can take forth into our own lives is that peace can only happen when we learn to treat each other as part of God’s family and only then will we be rewarded with the peace we seek.
