The girl’s football team continued their recent excellent form in the league with an emphatic 5-0 win over Underhill on Wednesday afternoon. The match was evenly poised at half time with the score at 0-0, even though both teams had created chances to break the dead lock.
After the break we raced into a 2 nil lead with two outstanding goals from Isabella Tolaini (5SY) & Eabha Comer King (6V) to put us into a commanding position. The girls continued to dominate the rest of the second half and eventually run out 5-0 winners, with Isabella and Eabha bagging another three goals between them. It was extremely difficult to select a ‘Girl of The Match’ after this excellent performance but it impossible not to give Isabella Tolaini a special mention, after she has scored her first hat-trick for the school with a match winning performance.
