We were delighted to welcome PC Lee Redworth to St Catherine’s this week. He is our new local Barnet Primary School Officer. He spoke to the children about a variety of topics. Upper Key Stage 2 received advice on Personal and Online Safety. Lower KS2 and KS1 were presented with a slide show and video on “Clever Never Goes” and EYFS learned about what the police do and Road Safety. The children thoroughly enjoyed their sessions. We will welcome PC Lee again in the Summer Term when he will talk to the Year 6 children about transition to secondary school and to Reception about why the Police wear a uniform.
