On Thursday, Key Stage 1 and 2 welcomed the Catholic Children’s Society to St. Catherine’s. The children learnt about their work supporting local families in London, Hertfordshire and the South East. We heard the story of Ellie, a three-year-old girl in north London who CCS supported when her house became unliveable.
The 2024 CCS Lent Appeal is called ‘Make Your Voices Heard’ in reference to Pope Francis asking young people to speak out when they see injustice. You will see the purple CCS Lent Appeal boxes coming home to each family by the end of this week. These boxes can be used to raise money for CCS throughout Lent. The collection date will be after the Easter holidays in the week commencing 15th April. Thank you for your generosity and continued support.
