Last week the choir visited All Souls Church, in Central London, to join several other schools for The Big Sing. This is part of our Proms Praise for School 2024 project, which ends in a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in March.
Following an early lunch, which was very exciting and the best lunch ever, we headed off to the Underground to make our way to Oxford Circus. It was a short walk to Langham Place, where we were warmly greeted by the All Souls Music team.
Once seated the warm up began, trickier than it seemed!! Then the hard work began, we went through the songs to be learnt for the concert and tackled the harmony parts. A couple of hours later, tired but excited we returned to school. A great afternoon was had by all.
