Children’s Mental Health Week

Next week at St Catherine’s, we are eagerly gearing up for Children’s Mental Health Week, an important initiative focused on promoting emotional well-being and mental health awareness among our students. The theme this year is: ‘My Voice Matters’. This theme is about empowering children and young people by providing them with the tools they need to express themselves. During this week, we want all of our children to feel that – “My Voice Matters”. Evidence shows that empowering children and young people improves their wellbeing. When children feel their voices are heard, they display higher levels of self-efficacy and self-esteem. Throughout the week, the children will take part in a series of engaging activities and discussions that aim to foster a positive and supportive environment where our mental health is a priority. By embracing this week with enthusiasm, we hope to empower our students with the tools they need to navigate their emotions effectively.
