1F worked very hard their practical maths lesson this week. They made the teen numbers in a variety of ways including using numicon, unifix cubes and dienes. We discussed place value and how we can work out how many tens and ones are in a two-digit number. Finally, they turned this into a number sentence using the number pebbles. Fantastic learning, well done 1F!
