On Wednesday Year 6 visited Westminster Cathedral for an Advent Carol Service along with many other schools from the diocese. During the service, we sang carols and joined together in prayer as we listened to the bidding prayers, some of which were read by St Catherine’s pupils. The highlight of our visit was hearing the retelling of the Christmas story by Angel Gabriel of the miraculous birth of Jesus, which was accompanied by shepherds, angels and even a real donkey. It was an unforgettable experience that illuminated the true meaning of Christmas and left us filled with anticipation for the joyful celebrations ahead.
