On Thursday, Year 2 went on a trip to Shoeburyness beach to introduce our topic ‘Beachcombers’. The children started off by exploring the beach and seeing what amazing things they could find. They then worked in groups to see who could make the best sandcastle. They were very creative and were able to decorate their sandcastles with the objects they had found during their exploration of the beach. We all had a wonderful day and the children really enjoyed their very first trip of the year!
