We had an amazing time during our visit to the Verulamium Museum in St Albans. We began with a visit to the Roman amphitheatre remains, providing a glimpse into the historical site where gladiator battles took place thousands of years ago. Afterwards, we proceeded to the Roman artefact workshop, where the children had the opportunity to handle authentic Roman cookware and tools. We concluded the day with a tour of the Verulamium Museum where the children were able to see the reconstructions of Roman life. The visit linked to our current topic ” I am a warrior”.
