Thank you to Jessica Templar who took her role as Caritas Ambassador very seriously over the summer holidays. During this time, Jessica decided to raise money by selling figs from her garden. 5 sales, 500 figs, 9 crumbles, and 15 litres of apple juice from a neighbour’s apples later Jessica had raised £359.01 which she is donating to Caritas.
Inspired by Catholic faith, Caritas is the helping hand of the Church – reaching out to the poor, vulnerable and excluded, regardless of race or religion, to build a world based on justice and fraternal love. Well done Jessica for raising money for this very worthy cause. We look forward to seeing how all our Caritas ambassadors work together during the coming year.
