As part of their role, the Pupil Chaplaincy Team at St Catherine’s have decided to organise their first charity food donation collection for the RSPCA. On Wednesday a representative from the RSPCA Central London Branch came to talk to all the children in two assemblies. The children learnt how the RSPCA rescue animals in need and help find them forever homes that are perfect for them. The RSPCA explained how donations of food will help them feed the animals whilst they are in their care and waiting for their forever homes. During the assembly the RSPCA shared with the children how it is important for people to properly care for and love their animals.
The Pupil Chaplaincy Team have created posters to display around the school to appeal for dry cat and dog food donations. Please send in cat and dog food donations on the following days:
Monday 12th June – EYFS
Tuesday 13th June – KS1
Wednesday 14th June – Year 3 and Year 4
Thursday 15th June – Year 5 and Year 6
