Last week, Year 6 had a wonderful time exploring the glorious nature that Tolmers has to offer. We started the week with a coach full of excited and enthusiastic children and ended the week with a coach full of children with memories that would last a life time. The week consisted of: orienteering, water wars, kayaking, aeroball, vertical wall, rafting and many more. From the moment the children had breakfast, Year 6 had a day packed with a wide range of activities that pushed all children out of their comfort zones at some point. A highlight for many was the campfire, seeing Mr Reilly attempt the vertical wall and seeing Miss Martin jump into the lake. The selection of food was particularly impressive, as well as the weather: no rain or umbrellas in sight. Thank you to the kind staff at Tolmers that supported us in having such an amazing time, but a particular thank you to Miss Sonenfeld, Mr Morgan, Miss Martin and Mr Reilly who left their families for the week to ensure our children were able to take part in this memorable experience. Thank you to Mrs Byrne, Mrs Kaur, Mrs Arnold and Mrs Tsilogiannis who joined the children during the day to provide additional support.
