Year 3 Weekly Update – 10/03/23

Please practise the 10, 5, 2, 3, 4 and 8 times tables.

The next Times tables Rockstars battle will be between 3B and 3G,  beginning on Thursday and ending next Thursday. We will give the certificates out for the top 3 players in each class during celebration assembly on Friday and hear which class has been victorious.

Next week we will be dividing two digits by one digit.

Next week, we will continue writing our predictive narratives.

Next week we will start to understand the importance of the Readings at Mass and to reflect on how we listen to God’s word.

We will start building our cars this week on Thursday. Please ensure that you have sent in junk modelling resources for your child to build their car by Thursday as we do not have junk modelling resources in school. Please do not buy any resources for this project, junk modelling will be sufficient. We will have paint and the usual art resources at school.

Next week we will be learning to know what constitutes a positive, healthy relationship and develop the skills to form and maintain positive and healthy relationships.

Science Week

Next week is Science week and the children will be taking part in a variety of workshops and lessons based on the theme, ‘Connections’.
