This week, we will be adding 10s across 100, subtracting 1s across 10 and subtracting 10s across 100. Next week, we will continue our addition and subtraction learning through adding numbers up to 1,000 with no exchanges.
This week we are writing our own information books about the Stone Age including headings, sub-headings and conjunctions. We will end the week by doing peer assessment on our work. Next week, we will move on to narrative writing.
Today we will take part in a live lesson from the Museum of London all about prehistory.
Next week, we will look at different ways to save work and begin to create online versions of our Stone Age information books.
We will continue Forest school this half term. Please ensure that the children have wellies and appropriate wet weather gear in the event of bad weather.
In Science next week, we will look at the parts of a plant and their functions.
Home school books
Please ensure that your child’s home school book and reading record is always in their bag to enable us to change it when the opportunity arises.
