Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their Potions Day where they dressed up as Scientist and explored their new topic ‘States of Matter’. The children carried out a liquid experiment to measure the viscosity of each liquid. They did this by setting up a fair test and timing how long each liquid took to pour down the guttering into a bowl. In the afternoon Year 4 created their very own lava lamps and watched them fizz and bubble away. A wonderful day learning together and exploring their new topic.
