The children learned what a baby needs when in the womb, the different stages of development (comparing the size of the baby to different objects e.g. a raisin at the beginning) and how midwives care for new born babies.
Later in the week, we will continue our learning on classifying animals by creating a variety of classification keys for vertebrates. We will also look at classification keys for invertebrates and then use these to classify what we find as we explore the school grounds. We will do a local survey of habitats, linking habitats to the 7 life processes.
