Rights Respecting School: Report from Martins School

On Friday 4th October, the Rights Respecting ambassadors went to visit St Catherine’s School in Barnet which is also a Gold Rights Respecting School. The children at St Catherine’s took us on an exciting tour of the school. We saw all of the classrooms which were quite different from ours. The children were allowed to take their shoes off and they had bum bags with their school supplies inside. Some classrooms had beautiful fish tanks which were so clear that you could see the next door classroom through it. The children wore rights respecting badges. The children and staff showed rights respecting behaviour all around the school and they were very kind to us. We loved playing in their playground. We are the only 2 Gold schools in Barnet so we felt very proud of ourselves and are happy to share this with St Catherine’s.
