The RRS Ambassadors are meeting next week to talk about an information leaflet and our forthcoming newsletter. One of our main aims is to update the school leaflet in line with the gold award. We will look at some of the suggested templates from UNICEF and personalise it to St Catherine’s School. Once it is completed we will email a copy home to every family.
Global Learning: GLOBAL GOAL 12
Our planet has provided us with an abundance of natural resources.
But we have not utilized them responsibly and currently consume far beyond what our planet can provide. We must learn how to use and produce in sustainable ways that will reverse the harm that we have inflicted on the planet. Pope Francis clearly wants us to look after our world. He calls all of us to care of the earth and the poor. Saint Francis of Assisi reminds us that our common home is like a sister with whom we share our life and a beautiful mother who opens her arms to embrace us.
