The children really enjoyed the opportunity of meeting some of our School Governors on Friday. They chatted about their learning and the impact of talk partners used in their lessons. They all found their topics so valuable and supportive. One member of the School Council said, “ Talk Partners are like your extra brain!”
The children spoke about the exciting topics they had been studying such as Ancient Greece, Recycling, the Battle of Barnet and so much more.
They told the School Governors that they know they have made progress in their learning by the comments in their books, by what the teacher says to them and by the discussions they have with their talk partners.
We look forward to the next visit.
