Music Clubs and Ensembles

Choir

The school choir is a wonderful opportunity for a child to make music using the most flexible and expressive instrument available to them – their voice. We rehearse a wide range of fun and challenging music every week, and participate in both school and external performances this has included a concert for the Queen’s Jubilee and other external events.

It is open to all children from Year 4 . Tuesday in the main hall, 3.30 – 4.10.  As this is an after school club there is a register taken and parents must inform the office of their child’s attendance.

Orchestra

The School orchestra is open to children, in year 3 to 6, who play an orchestral Instrument and are having lessons in or out of school.  Your child should have been learning for a term or more to ensure they are comfortable and get enjoyment out of ensemble playing. We play a variety of music and perform regularly at school events.  Rehearsals are Wednesday lunchtimes.  Please speak to Miss Draper if you are interested in joining.
