Wednesday 20 May 2026 4E Weekly Update w/e 15/05/26 This week, 4E were learning about food chains including producers, consumers, and apex predators, and then used a set of animal cards to create their own food chains.

Tuesday 12 May 2026 4E Weekly Update w/e 08/05/26 This week, 4E took part in an online money workshop where they learnt about the history of money and how it's developed over time.

Tuesday 12 May 2026 4F Weekly Update w/e 08/05/26 4F took part in the Museum on the Mound's History of Money workshop. They learnt about money from all over the world, including shells from Mauritius, salt blocks and coco beans, and handled artefacts.

Tuesday 21 April 2026 4F Weekly Update w/e 17/04/26 To celebrate the beginning of Eastertide, 4F created artwork and heard the story of Mary Magdalene discovering the empty tomb.

Friday 10 April 2026 4F Weekly Update w/e 27/03/26 During Shakespeare Week, 4F took part in a 'Story Woosh' for key scenes in The Tempest, where they acted out the scene then 'wooshed' the story on to a new group.

Friday 10 April 2026 French Weekly Update w/e 27/03/26 To celebrate the season of Pâques, Y4 pupils got to know the French legend of the Easter bells and did a vocabulary quiz in teams. Then we played two exciting games, collecting coloured eggs! Joyeuses Pâques!

Friday 10 April 2026 4E Weekly Update w/e 27/03/26 This week, the children took part in a “conscious alley,” acting as the thoughts in Peter’s head as he faced denying Jesus, with one side urging him to lie while the other encouraged him to tell the truth.
