Friday 10 April 2026 2S Weekly Update w/e 27/03/26 This week in Art, 2S created a garden inspired collage. They used their pressed flowers and a range of other materials to make their masterpiece.
Wednesday 25 March 2026 2S Weekly Update w/e 20/03/26 This week in Forest School, 2S planted sunflower seeds. This links to our Science learning on plants and what they need to thrive. Give them plenty of water and sunshine please!
Wednesday 25 March 2026 2G Weekly Update w/e 20/03/26 We listened and participated in an interactive workshop from the Jewish Museum about Passover.
Tuesday 24 March 2026 2S Weekly Update w/e 13/03/36 This week in Maths, 2S have been practising multiplying and dividing. We were helped by the fact that we know how to count in 2s, 5s and 10s.
Tuesday 24 March 2026 2G Weekly Update w/e 13/03/36 Children explored the different plants in our school playground and discussed how these plants benefit the environment.
Tuesday 10 March 2026 2G Weekly Update w/e 06/03/26 Children enjoyed listening to The Velveteen Rabbit with David Litchfield. It was a wonderful story time and draw‑along session that inspired their imaginations and brought the character to life.
Tuesday 10 March 2026 2S Weekly Update w/e 06/03/26 This week in Science, 2S were exploring the differences between seeds and bulbs. Bulbs were larger and could be opened to show the scales inside. They also reproduce yearly!
Tuesday 10 March 2026 French Weekly Update w/e 06/03/26 To complete our topic on park life, Y2 pupils learned about different French snacks on sale and practised politeness, using s’il vous plaît and merci. Then we did a class survey to find out which snack was more popular: Croque Monsieur or Croque Madame?
Tuesday 10 March 2026 2G Weekly Update w/e 27/02/26 We visited the Barnet Environment Centre and a highlight of the day was pond dipping, where children discovered creatures and tiny pond insects.

Tuesday 24 February 2026 2G Weekly Learning w/e 13/02/26 This week is Children's Mental Health Week and “This is My Place" is about listening to children and helping them feel they belong.
Tuesday 10 February 2026 2G Weekly Learning w/e 06/02/26 In PSHE and computing, we discussed different rules to help us to stay safe on line.
Tuesday 10 February 2026 2S Weekly Learning w/e 06/02/26 In computing this week, we were learning about the positives and negatives of using the internet. We discussed that a positive was that we learn new things, so we researched UK castles, wrote facts and drew pictures.
Tuesday 3 February 2026 2G Weekly Learning w/e 30/01/26 In History, children worked in groups to explore a range of castle images as secondary sources - looking at the similarities and differences of them.
Tuesday 3 February 2026 French Weekly Learning w/e 30/01/26 Pupils in 2G have been learning about les animaux sauvages! We played a fun memory game to reinforce vocabulary, then followed up with some puzzles which the children solved in teams.
Tuesday 3 February 2026 2S Weekly Learning w/e 30/01/26 2S have been learning about what you need to stay healthy, including a balanced diet, exercise, to stay clean and get a good amount of sleep. They then presented this to the class as a video.
Tuesday 27 January 2026 2G Weekly Learning w/e 23/01/26 Children wrote the story of the baptism of Jesus.
Tuesday 27 January 2026 2S Weekly Learning w/e 23/01/26 This week in PSHE, 2S learned about Pantosaurus and who our trusted adults are if something makes us uncomfortable.
