On Tuesday, EYFS, KS1 and KS2 commemorated the first Sunday of Advent through their Advent liturgies. The children marked the beginning of Advent through readings, hymns and prayer. We lit the first candle of the Advent wreath and discussed how Advent is an important period of waiting for the birth of Jesus. It was lovely to have the opportunity to come together to calmly reflect on this special time of year.
