Our boy’s 1st team kicked off their season last Friday in sub freezing conditions Vs Foulds – last season’s league winners. Our depleted squad through illness and injuries dominated large spells of the first half but conceded right before half time making the match level at the break. In the second half our outfield players courageously rotated between the posts as our number 1 goalie was unavailable and with temperatures dropping Foulds eventually ran out winners on the day. Even though it was not the result we wanted, large parts of the first half were really encouraging and those positives are what we are going to take with us as we attack the 2022/23 season.
