The game started with St Catherine’s kicking off, followed by an early corner to Woodridge. A few minutes later, Jack played the ball to Toby who crossed it to Leo who knocked it into the goal taking St Catherine’s into the lead. This goal was followed quickly by another one where Lewis won a tackle and passed to Leo who was in a position to stick the ball in the top corner. After half time, Woodridge kicked off and passed the ball around before Jack slide tackled and won the procession back and attempted to score but unfortunately he tipped it around the post resulting in a corner. Lewis delivered well, followed by an unbelievable header by Toby taking the score to 3-0. Jack then won possession of the ball, but Woodridge squared it and scored making it 3-1. Soon after, Lewis took a shot scored off the rebound , 4-1! St Catherine’s started to lose concentration and Woodridge took advantage of this and knocked the ball into the net again. In the final couple of minutes, St Catherine’s won possession and Jack took an unexpected shot from the half way line and scored making the final score 5-2!
