On Tuesday, Year 2 launched their brand new Street Detectives topic with a very exciting Detective Morning. The children had the opportunity to speak to a real life Detective Constable about what his exciting and varied job involves. He also spoke to the children about how they can keep themselves safe in real life and online. The children asked lots of interesting and thought-provoking questions. Year 2 then became detectives themselves by completing a series of maths investigations in their classes, using their knowledge of number to help themselves solve the puzzles. The children had a lovely day and we were really impressed with them.
