Dear Parents and Carers,
Year 4 have had a wonderful start to the year, we have enjoyed creating historical timelines and taking part in our first recorder lesson! Well done to all children who took part in our New Year Mass today with Father John and the rest of KS2, all the teachers were very proud of how respectfully Year 4 behaved. This Friday is our school trip to the Verulamium museum, your child will need a packed lunch in a plastic bag that can be thrown away. We are hoping for good weather, but bringing a waterproof jacket is also advised.
Spellings: This week we are focusing on the ‘ure’ spelling pattern. Please practice at home with you child.
Treasure, measure, enclosure, pleasure, closure, future, nature

Times tables: We are continuing our focus on the 9 times table. To support this, please practice with your child at home. As well as this, your child has been set a purple mash times table quiz to access at home. Please find some links to useful websites below.
