Times tables:
So far in KS1 and year 3, children have discretely learnt the 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 times tables. Please ensure that your child is confident in all of these and able to quickly recall them so that they are ready to learn new times tables in year 4. Times Tables Rockstars is a fun way to practise quick recall. We have been amazed by the engagement in Times Tables Rockstars so far and so impressed with all the children we see on the leader board and receiving certificates in our weekly competitions. The competition this week is Year 4 vs Year 3. The top 3 players from each ‘team’ receive a certificate each week.
