Year 2 Weekly Update – 17/06/22

This week the children have been writing their own poems about sports using interesting adjectives and adverbs. We have been really proud of their wonderful poems.

In Maths the children have begun our new topic of measuring and have been learning how to measure accurately in cm and in m.

In R.E the children have been drawing pictures of their own representations of Pentecost.

In computing the children have been creating their own PowerPoints.

This week for home learning we would like your child to learn their lines for our prayer service. These will be sent home to them tomorrow. Please help your child to learn their lines by heart by Monday. Please help them to practise saying them slowly and loudly at home. We will be practising together as a group on Monday, so would like them to know them by then.
