Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you had a wonderful half term and enjoyed the Jubilee celebrations. It has been lovely to welcome Year 4 back, we are all very excited for our residential trip this Thursday to Cuffley Camp. Please find attached your child’s learning and home learning for next week.
Spellings: Due to less time to learn spellings due to the residential trip, spellings this week will be a revision of previously learnt words.

Times tables: Starting from next week we will begin administering the Statutory Multiplication Times Table checks. Please ensure that as much as possible you are revising the 2- 12 times tables with your child at home on both purple mash and times table rock stars. Your child has been set a try it check on purple mash- this is titled ‘Multiplication- Home test
English: Next Week we will be writing our own poems.
Maths: In Maths we will be working on rounding decimals.
RE: In RE next week we will be learning about Paul and Silas
Library: Please ensure your child brings their library books back to school every Monday. If they wish to keep the same book for an additional week it needs to be checked out once more from the Library.
Reminder:
- PE days are Tuesday and Friday
- Library books returned to school on Monday
- Non- School Uniform day on Monday and Friday for Year 4 next week
