Prayer Service
Thank you all so much for attending the Prayer service last Wednesday. The children spoke, acted and sang brilliantly and were delighted to have so many parents in attendance to watch their service. We were so proud of the children and all the hard work they out in. Well done to all of them!

Maths
This week we will be finishing our lessons about money and will be starting work on statistics. Next week we will continue with our statistics lessons and be creating and interpreting bar charts.
Literacy
This week, we will continue with our newspaper reports. Next week, we will be building up to write narratives with personification.
RE
Next week we will be learning that Jesus returned from heaven and what this means for us.
Computing
Over the next few weeks we will be creating code to draw shapes on Scratch.
Science
This week we will be examining and comparing rocks in order to classify them based on their appearance and properties. Next week we will be investigating the properties of rocks.
History
Next week we will be describing everyday life in Rome using a range of historical sources.
Trip to the Natural History Museum
Please note that our trip to the Natural History Museum is on Friday 13th May. Thank you to the volunteers for the trip who have all been notified. Please ensure that your child has a waterproof jacket and a packed lunch in a disposable bag for the day. We will keep the office informed regarding our arrival back at school. If we anticipate arriving after 3.20pm, a text will be sent out to inform all parents.
