Dear parents,
We have had a fantastic week of learning so far and we are looking forward to the upcoming Science week. The learning for next week is:
English: Comparing the Arctic and Antarctica, including the animals, weather and people
Maths: Decimals as fractions, fractions to decimals and understanding percentages
Science: Don’t Tip the Ship experiment and learning about polar animals and how they have adapted to their environment. We will be taking part in two workshops: stars and constellations and states of matter.
RE: To make reasoned judgements.
Spellings: Words with a long /e/ sound spelt ‘ie’ or ‘ei’ after the letter ‘c’ (and exceptions)
siege, niece, grief, chief, fiend, shriek, believe. achieve, convenience, mischievous.
Please can you make sure that your child is using their Times Tables Rockstars login and taking part in all of the tournaments to speed up the fluency of their tables.
