
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week year 4 have enjoyed learning about the story of Hiawatha and the peacemaker. We are also looking forward to creating our own short stories in celebration of World book day on Thursday! Please find attached your child’s learning and home learning for the week.
Spellings: The spelling assessment will continue to take place on Tuesday mornings and they will receive their new spelling words Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and illness the last two weeks the spelling assessment has been carried out on different days. Please know that your child will always be given adequate time to learn and practise their spellings as we also have spelling lessons during the week also.
Antisocial, Antiseptic, Anticlockwise, Antifreeze, Intermediate, Intercity, Internet
Times tables: Please continue to regularly use times tables rock stars at home. Please revise all times tables.
English: Next week we will be using drama to recreate our own versions of Native American myths and legends.
Maths: In Maths we are learning about equivalent fractions.
RE: In RE next week we will be reflecting upon the Lenten period and what it means for us.
PSHE: We will be utilising PSHE time to discuss the situation in Ukraine with the children. Please find below the resource we will be using to support the children.

- If you are free to help walk Year 4 to Mass this Wednesday afternoon (02.03.22) please let us know as soon as possible!
- Please ensure you have returned the permission slip for our school trip to The Science Museum. We are in need of parent helpers, your support would be greatly appreciated
- Thursday 3rd March- Please bring your World Book Day potato creations to share with the class
