Dear parents,
This week in English the children are learning about what is reported and what is direct speech. They are learning how to change direct speech into reported speech.
In Maths, the children have been learning how to recognise odd and even numbers.
In History the children are learning about some of the features of a castle.
In Science the children have been learning about recycling – what it is is and how we recycle.
In computing the children have been learning about how to stay safe online. They have been learning about what is personal information and how we should never share it. They have also been learning about how it is important to be polite and kind online and what to do if someone else is not polite and kind to you online.
Home Learning
There will be no new spellings this week, as it is half term. Please continue to listen to your child read regularly over half term and read stories to them. We hope you have a wonderful half term!
