On Tuesday 8th February, St Catherine’s celebrated Safer Internet Day. Each class from reception to year 6 participated in an online assembly which the children found both enjoyable and interesting. Within this they learned how to report concerns online, saw online safety films as well as how to respond to cyber-bullying. Each class, then completed a follow up task. These included completing an online safety quiz on the laptops, creating a recipe for healthy online relationships and discussing online scenarios that they may encounter. I know this week has been so valuable for ensuring our children are best equipped to use the online world safely.
