Times tables:
Maths
In maths, we have been looking at making equal groups and how multiplication is repeated addition.
E.g. 6 + 6 +6 = 6 x 3 = 18
We will continue our multiplication and division topic by recapping times tables and division by grouping and sharing.
Literacy
In literacy, we have been writing diary entries from the perspective of Daedalus. We used writing techniques such as rhetorical questions and double -ly sentences. This week and next, we will look at Theseus and the Minotaur and be writing our own myths and legends.
RE
This week, we will look at the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Next week, we will be focusing on Lent.
Computing
This week, the children will be using the web to research facts about Zeus and consider where would be best to find information.
Geography
Next week, we will look at the human and physical features of modern and ancient
