We have noticed some children are still not conifdent in their number bonds which is holding back their ability to add and subtract bigger numbers. Please practise adding and subtracting within 20.

Maths
Next week, we will start our multiplication and division topic by looking at multiplication.
Literacy
In literacy, we will move on to our next unit of writing. We will be looking at the story of Icarus and Daedalus and writing diary entries from the perspective of Daedalus.
RE
Next week, we will learn about the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Computing
In computing, we will be looking at tocuh typing. We will learn the names of the fingers and what is meant by the top, middle and bottom rows.
Art and DT
Over the next few weeks, we will use papier mache to make a model of our chosen Greek god or godess and then paint and evaluate our models.
Geography
In geography, we will plot journeys using online mapping.
Forest School
Last week, Year 3 enjoyed being creative in the forest area. We will be doing Forest School every Wednesday for this term. Please bring in wellies or other sensible shoes on Wednesdays.
