The Year 4 teacher’s wanted to thank you for all of your ongoing support this term. The children have made excellent progress this term and they have thoroughly enjoyed our topics so far.
Next term the children’s topic will be ‘Traders and Raiders’ where the children will learn about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. The topic will take the children back to the Dark Ages, where battles were rife and fear reigned. They will find out about the lives of the Saxons, including how they lived and where they came from.
There is no home learning over the holidays but your child can read the knowledge organiser attached and continue to learn and revisit their times tables and year 3/4 common exception words.
Reminders:
- Tomorrow 15.12.21: Christmas party clothes are to be worn and children are to bring in a snack e.g. soft sweets, chocolate, juice. We politely ask that there are no fizzy drinks or snacks that contain nuts.
