Dear parents/carers,
We have been really impressed with all of the Year 6 children this week during the Year 6 mock SATs tests, their scores will be shared with you via a piece of paper that your child will bring home on Friday 22nd October.
Next Friday 22nd October a Year 6 parent has kindly volunteered to support us with our art work for our topic Hola Mexico. Your child will need to bring in a small/medium sized pumpkin on Friday, the rest of the resources are being kindly provided.
The learning for next week is:
English: Narrative writing- continuation of the story Holes.
Maths: Multiply 2 digits by 2 digits; multiply 3 digits by 2 digits; and multiply up to a 4 digit number by a 2 digit number
PSHE: How conflicts arise and how to deal with them.
Spellings: words ending: ough – bough, enough, though, thought, rough, ought, cough, bought, drought, tough, although, dough, plough, sought, thorough, brought
Art: The children will be painting pumpkins linked to our topic Hola Mexico.
Thank you for your continued support,
Year 6 Team
