Thank you dear parents and families for your generosity with your Harvest Donations over the past few weeks. Victoria and Sonia, who are volunteers from Chipping Barnet Foodbank came to collect our offerings. Chipping Barnet Foodbank is part of The Trussell Trust’s network of 428 foodbanks, working to tackle food poverty and hunger in our local communities, as well as across the UK. Sonia spoke to our Year 3 children about the work that she does as a volunteer and how she helps in providing emergency food to people in crisis. Year 3 had lots of questions to ask and were eager to learn and understand how this will help local people.
