Year 4 have had another wonderful week. Please find below your child’s learning that will be taking place next week, spellings and their times table focus.
Spellings: Continuation of the statutory spelling list for years 3/4.

Literacy/Topic: Next week in English we will be focusing on the exciting life of Spartacus. Year 4 will be learning how to participate in a debate, as well as rehearsing our ideas using role play and drama skills.
Mathematics: Next week in maths we will be focusing on applying our place value knowledge, this will include partitioning 4 digit numbers as well as practicing placing numbers to 10,000 on a number line.
Time table focus: Please continue to support your child with their 3 and 4 times tables; As well as this, we will begin to learn the 6 times tables, for this week please support your child in securing 1-6 of the 6 times tables (up to 6×6).

RE: Next week in RE we will be reflecting on God’s plan for Joseph.
RHE: The children will be learning about emotions and their well- being.
