Times tables
Please practise 2s, 5s and 10s at speed. Try 5 seconds maximum per question. Remember, Purple Mash games are great for this. To challenge your child, they could try recalling the related division facts. E.g. 12 ÷ 2 = 6 They could then recall the multiplication and division fact families for each times table.
E.g. 6 x 2 = 12, 2 x 6 = 12, 12 ÷ 2 = 6, 12 ÷ 6 = 2

Maths
Next week, we will move on from place value to addition and subtraction. We will be adding and subtracting multiples of 100 and then other 3-digit numbers.
Literacy
In literacy, this week we have been writing our non-chronological reports about Krindlekrax. Next week, we will look at Haiku poems (17 syllables arranged over three lines, five syllables in the first, seven in the next and five in the final line).
RE
In RE this week, we will be learning all about harvest festival before our donations next week. Please remember your donations before the 6th October. We will continue our learning about Baptism – signs and symbols next week instead.
RHE
This week, we will look at module 2 unit 2, session 1- friends, family and others and look at what bullying is.
Science
We will continue to learn about nutrition and food labels.
