Dear parents/carers,
Please remember that your child will need to bring in a cereal box for our periscope experiment in Science lesson on Monday. Thank you to those children who have already brought in their cereal boxes.
The learning for next week is:
English: Analysing characters in the story ‘Holes’ and writing a letter in role as Stanley
Maths: Rounding any numbers, negative numbers and adding whole numbers with more than four digits
PSHE: To learn about influences and making healthy choices when deciding what to eat or drink
Science: making a periscope
RE: Recognise that Jesus’ miracles reflected the beginning of the Kingdom and show us what God is like.
Spellings: able/ible words. Horrible, adorable, terrible, forgivable, possible, disposable, edible, enjoyable, reversible, valuable, invincible, breakable, legible, identifiable. Children will be tested on Friday 24th September.
Please encourage your child to practise their times tables (up to 12 x 12) for our weekly Times Tables Championship.
