Year 4 had a wonderful week last week, including a very successful trip to the Verulamium museum in St Albans. We are very grateful to the parent helpers who volunteered to help out for the day! Thank you to those who were able to attend our curriculum meeting earlier in the week, we hope you found it informative, if you have any further questions please let us know. Library: Your child will need to return their library books on a Monday.

Literacy/Topic: Next week in English we will be continuing with our historical narrative writing, focusing on Queen Boudicca’s infamous revolt against the Romans. There will also be a focus on correctly using time adverbials in our writing.

Mathematics: Following on from our focus this week on rounding to the nearest ten, next week we will be learning about rounding to the nearest 100. As well as this, we will be beginning to count in 1000’s.

RE/RHE: Next week Year 4 will be learning about the bible and its structure. They will also be learning about the importance of forgiveness.
